Other skills: He has been a Dungeons and Dragons geek for years, and is also well-versed in the worlds of fantasy and science fiction. He is also a very talented computer programmer, able to figure out complex logical problems with little to no effort, which also translates into real-world application. He's calm, level-headed, and very intelligent.
Weaknesses: He is physically weak, as he spends most of his time in front of a computer screen, and is uncomfortable in social situations that don't involve his Dungeons and Dragons group. He also tends to take a conspiracy-theorist point of view a lot of the time.
Skeleton in the closet: A year ago, on a dare from a friend, Duane wrote one of the most devastating computer viruses to ever be released onto the internet. However, due to an immense stroke of luck, he managed to not be discovered as its creator, and also released a fix for it on a different website. He is still paranoid that someone will find out that it was him and report him to the FBI.
History: Duane has had a very normal life, in most respects. He was born and grew up in the same town as only child, never moving or changing school districts. He was attracted to fantasy early on in life, and fell in with a group of kids who all played Dungeons and Dragons, and became obsessed with the game. As he grew old, his obsession lessened, although he still enjoys it quite a lot. He also got into computer programming at an early age, and is now much more talented than the programming instructor at his high school. He has been offered scholarships to several prominent schools in the field, and he has been spending time lately going over them.
